having trouble making the schedule work

Hey everyone,

Think you all know about my promotion a couple months ago, as I have missed about half the games I think.

I still find time to pop into the forums here or at NWC since that is on the fly, I do have small bits of time here and there, but it is tough to make a scheduled game every week. At least at this point in my new job. I have no hours, I am off the clock, but I work a lot of hours at the moment.

In a couple months I will be better established and should be able to make a regular game every week, but at the moment it is just too difficult and unfair to the group and V. My absence every other week hurts the fluidity of the game, and for the type of custom campaign V runs and makes for us, it doesn't work. A lot of plots and characters revolve around our characters, and with me absent all the time, I know it must hurt what he wants to see happen in the games as well.

I am thinking I need to take a break for a couple months so you guys can have a regular dependable group of players every week. And after I have gotten the new job under control I can see if there is an empty slot for Asia.

Winsome is aware of my new job details as we have chatted outside the game for a long time through regular emails. But to sum it up, I worked very hard for several years to get myself positioned to get this promotion. It is a lot of responsibility with tremendous income potential.
I need to dedicate just about everything right now to this job, other then the small bit of time I force myself to have so I can go to the gym (usually between 10-11pm at 24hr fitness) and the time I make for the relationship I am working on so I don't lose her. That would suck also, get the dream job but lose the girl. lol

As I have been withthe group for over a year now I think, it is not something I wanted to give up, but at this point I believe it is necessary for me and for the group to have fluid good adventures. It has been a lot of fun.

Hopefully will be able to make it back in a couple months if there is an open slot. At least we all level pretty slowly, so maybe Asia will only be a level or 2 beneath every else. So she will just have to put up with being the wussie of the group for a bit, sort of like Bree is now. = )~~~

I will certainly see you guys around the forums. As I said, I do have a bit of time now and then, but it is either during slow times during the day, or late at night.

Thank you for the heads up, and good luck with the job. We were certainly miss Asia, even if it only turns out to be for a couple of months.
