Well, it seems we were lucky today. Silwynn took a nasty blow from one of those bandits, and his soul left us. Luckily, the enemy must have had a mage or priest with them, he had quite a collection of scrolls.

Although it cost me, I managed to decipher one of the scrolls and use its power to return Silwynn to us. Perhaps I will let the priest, Thellian, do it next time. Divine magic, though useful, is not my forte....

We shall see...it is good to know that I at least am not the only one able to use such a scroll, gods forbid one of us falls again.
