Continuing your trek into the mountains, you encountered some obstacles that didn’t seem related to your primary goal, such as more of the beetles with the mind control powers, and lost ruins. Eventually, you did encounter kobolds, and fought your way forward until a rockslide blocked your path. You sent Hugin, Lindalas’ familiar, over the slide, but something happened to him as Lindalas lost his link to the bird. Sissfus then polymorphed, and reported more kobolds ahead.



Backtracking, you came upon another community of kobolds and killed them all, including the leader, who couldn’t get his surrender out of his mouth quickly enough. Miguel raised him back to life, and the kobold groveled for his life. He talked about “demon worshipping” kobolds, and said that the path to them was blocked. Piecing together what he said, you deduced that the only way to the demon worshipping kobolds was to use a key from the kobold, and access a demiplane of fire, and one of ice, to bypass the obstacles in your way.





Inserting the key on a sundial, you found yourselves in a demiplane of magma. You fought onward, and have discovered another portal. You now stand before it, ready to choose your next course.
