You have stepped through the portal in the kobold lair, and after finding yourself in a world of stone, have just defeated some unnatural creatures made of stone.

With a tiny screech, Kobold Siss tumbles in through the portal, and brandishes his nasty looking little sword menacingly. "Sissfus thinks that you small kobolds should stop following Sissfus before Sissfus has to use this!" He snarls menacingly and slashes at the empty air. "Sneaky Kobolds!" he mutters, then looks around in stupefication as he realises that only his companions are with him.

"Sissfus been looking for you for aaaages! Gots chased by Kobolds!"

Lindalas looks at Sissy with some amusement. "Siss, how about you try to stay in your reasonably sane elf form for a while? It would be quite refreshing for the rest of us. As for those kobolds, they're not here... these things are far more menacing. By the way, stay away from any wild boars you see... they have a mean streak and seem to like feasting on kobolds, elves and any other warmblooded creature they run into."

Miguel looks suspiciously at Sissfus.

"You didn't put your hands on the big stone altar, did you?"

He leans over to sniff for the scent of corruption and shadow but only smells regular ol' Sissfus, which in his present form isn't all that pleasant either.

Zastaph Mantric observed Sissfuss' activities with some portion of annoyance . kobolds were never his chosen company. their smell was even worse than their unnerving shrieks. "You should more often remember the true nature of your being, friend" he muttered in Sissfuss' direction, and hoped it would not be koboldish...
