Lindalas wanders up the hill deep in thought. He mumbles to no one in particular. "I hope that Asia and Sissy can ensure the safety of the tiger cubs. They really were adorable and it wouldn't be right to let them die. Of course, it is probably true that bringing them would put them in more danger than leaving them. At least we left them some food. It would be nice to have a dire tiger as a companion, sort of like Asia has silk."
Asia not far behind Lind hears him mumbling about the cubs. "I hope they'll be ok. I wasn't going to leave Skotch alone with them, since he seemed set on killing them for whatever reason. I got him to leave, but then it looked like he set a trap outside the cave!! Now I don't see him, so I can't find out what kind of a trap he set. What does he think they can stay in there forver!! We only left a little bit of food. And with the Mom gone, I am a bit worried. I didn't even have a chance to try and reach the Mom's mind, she was dead before I got up to where it happened. If we run into another animal like that, hopefully you guys won't kill it that quickly, I can try to calm it down you know"
Justice, voiceless, unseen, seeth thee when thou sleepest and when thou goest forth and when thou liest down. Continually doth she attend thee...
Looking at the various familiars and summoned animals traveling with the group, Miguel starts mumbling an orcish children's song to himself:
There was an old harpy who swallowed a fly.
I dunno why she swallowed that fly,
Perhaps she'll die.
There was an old harpy who swallowed a spider,
That wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly -
Perhaps she'll die.
There was an old harpy who swallowed a bird;
How absurd, to swallow a bird!
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly -
Perhaps she'll die
There was an old harpy who swallowed a cat.
Imagine that, she swallowed a cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ...
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly
Perhaps she'll die
There was an old harpy who swallowed a dog.
What a hog! To swallow a dog!
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat...
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ...
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly
Perhaps she'll die.
There was an old harpy who swallowed a goat.
Just opened her throat and swallowed a goat!
She swallowed the goat to catch the dog ...
She swallowed the dog to catch the cat.
She swallowed the cat to catch the bird ...
She swallowed the bird to catch the spider
That wriggled and jiggled and wiggled inside her.
She swallowed the spider to catch the fly.
But I dunno why she swallowed that fly
Perhaps she'll die.
There was an old harpy who swallowed a cow.
I don't know how she swallowed a cow!
She swallowed the cow to catch the goat... She swallowed the goat to catch the dog...
There was an old harpy who swallowed a horse -
She's dead, of course.
"Hmm... still need a fly, a goat, a cow, and a horse. And somehow need to work Sissfus's rat in there, maybe she swallowed Merch to catch Hugin..."

Asia hears the screaching that Mig must call singing. Thinking back to some times they had spent at the wizard/sorceror school in Spectaro, she remembers looing in on a couple classes and the teacher had a board on the wall, som sort of stone board, and would write on it with a softer stone material of some kind, and occasionally they would hit the board the wrong way with the chalk or their finger nail and it would make and awful wail.......Migs incresing volum brins her out of her deza vue...
*gads, that is killing me. He should do that in a battle, the enemies would be so disorienated it would be an easy victory. She ponders turning into and animal form which would allow her to flatten her ears against her head thinking it might block out the noise*

Sissfus, now in the shape of a rather small and skinny kobold (again) wanders back towards Skotch's trap, and attempts to tinker with the device in such a way as to disarm it. He fails miserably to even begin to grasp the basic nature of the trap, and mutters in frustration. A gleam lights his beady little eyes, and he is suddenly surrounded in that now familiar nimbus of white light. Standing where the tiny creature once was, is a hulking Minotaur, brandishing a flaming battleaxe. THe large brute quickly moves towards a nearby pile of boulders, and hefts a large one onto his shoulder, then throws it like a shotput from a fair distance at the area where Skotch rigged the trap....he ducks down, waiting for the boom
