Roleplay for August 24, 2005

[Venture]

After your defeat of Elri in Soraerdyl, an elven scout who had been watching the village discovered that the danger to the village was no more. Slowly, the refugee elves returned.

You are still in Soraerdyl, the remote village in northern Elvenwood. At the request of the elves, you are awaiting the return of the village leader so that he might discuss your adventure with you. He is returning from a quest to determine why the elvish party that left for Rockland, to seek the dwarves' aid against the demons, never returned. You wonder if he might have some insight into whether this adventure has come to an end, or if there are any other steps that could be taken with Alantha Chath. He should be back within the next few days.

Lindalas' mother has opened her home to you so that you might rest and recuperate from your battles. Despite the spartan furnishings, she has done her best to make you comfortable. A few bedrolls lie on the bare dirt floor, and a cook pot sits at one end of the small round, one room home. Several benches stretch out from the cookpot, towards the door that leads outside.

Some of you welcome the rest and relaxation, but some of you see boredom lurking on the fringes.
