Screenshots from Bigbluepaw

Post by Venture » Mon Aug 29, 2005 8:38 pm

Bigbluepaw was nice enough to send me a large number of Naeldor screenshots he had taken during the course of the campaign. He packaged it in a nice Powerpoint presentation. I have uploaded the screenshots here. If you don't have Powerpoint, Microsoft has a free viewer available. There are Powerpoint viewer programs out there for Mac (so says a quick Google search, at least), but I don't know if they work or not.

P.S. The file is 88.5 MB, so if you're not on broadband, you might want to do this one overnight . . .

I've downloaded it twice and it comes across as corrupt both times. Why use M$ software (yes I am biased). What is wrong with simply putting the screenshots in a folder and zipping it up?

I just put it up as I received it from BBP. I don't have the full version of Powerpoint, so I couldn't strip them out into individual files anyway.

It is possible that it became corrupt in the upload. I'll try to do it again tonight.

I re-uploaded it, just in case it was corrupt on the upload.

I also looked to see if there was any way for me to strip the individual screenshots out of the Powerpoint presentation, but without a complete copy of Powerpoint, I don't think it is possible.

I have tried to download it twice. Won't work. :(

I have powerpoint and everything here at work, so must be the download itself that isn't working?

Oops again, that was my message above.

Hmm, I guess it is getting corrupted every time I try to upload it. I'm not sure what else I can do. Maybe I will switch it to my work laptop, and then see if it uploads any better from here some time when I stay late (so as not to clog up the bandwidth at the office during the day).
