Yes, please post here. I plan to play. But, I have a business function I am skipping tonight too, so if we're only going to have a couple of people show up, we can change things.

So you talk to yourself and what do you know /
You answer back with a "Don't say so?"

Venture, I also had another question.
When you feel burnt out, is that burnt out in regards to building only? what about DMing?
The reason I ask is because I love my weekly nwn session with you guys, and was going to suggest that after this adventure, someone (Venture if he feels up to it, someone else if he doesn't) could DM us through a few pre-constructed pieces from NWNVault, mabey the same chars, mabey different ones (if using our current chars, we could do a short tie-in to our story, and then a premade generic dungeon-crawl or forest type adventure, something that isn't specifically Naeldor, but could be?). Heck, V could even play and I'll teach myself how to DM *grin*
Anyway, just a thought.
I even went so far as to build a shifter like Siss and finish HOTU since we last played.

It's mostly the building that leads to burnout. Although it might not look like it, for every hour of play, there is usually at least a couple of hours of building, if not more. I'd be more than happy to DM some Vault modules, if that is what everyone wanted.

Whatever we do, I wish to play the same characters and continue leveling them.
Think it would have to be server games though, as I never fixed my vault problem on my pc, a vault character of mine even at level 5 has attcks of like 65/76/87 etc..
Building does take a long time. I had built a couple things for the NWC Welcome Inn those were just simple areas and they took several hours of placing things and getting it the way I wanted. Think my Terrace is still there. = )
I had built a large area for fun, Dark Forest with cliffs on all sides so you had no choice but to run through it like a gauntlet. There were probably 4-5 different "ambush" areas. First had zombies and gouls, second had skeletons, third werewolves, last had all the above plus Dracolichs! Lots of rain, fog, very dark..was killer!! lol Even my Arena Fighter couldn't kill som of these things, and would die frequently. lol Anyway, that took me at least a week of building, many hours at a time.
Here's the link to Carlos self taught DM Module, if you wanted to get your feet wet and the basics down.

Sorry for the late response, didn't notice new posts on the sidebar at the main page until just now. I have a meeting at 3pm which should be over by 5 (the game time for me is 6:30) but if it runs late I might be late by 15-30 minutes maximum. Feel free to start without me if I'm not there, hopefully it'll be a non-issue anyway.
Mabey we could all start looking for some good modules that we could fit in, if people wanted to do that, then.Venture wrote:It's mostly the building that leads to burnout. oops, now I am a bit iffy for tonight, or maybe late. Customer from a couple months ago called me, Wells has been screwing up his loan for a purchase and wants me to take it over. Have to take this app and get it started.
Will do my best to make it.
